Quiqup


Quiqup is a London-based company that offers on-demand, last-mile logistics services and solutions.

Quiqup's consumer services allow people to get anything picked up on-demand through our mobile and Web app. From groceries to fashion, electronics to homeware and fine dining, their fleet of Quiqees shop on behalf of their customers, at a tap of a button.

Quiqup's business services provide retailers with tech and logistics solutions to operate an on-demand fulfilment service for their customers. They aim to empower all retailers by helping them extend their multi-channel proposition to meet consumers’ ever-evolving need for instant gratification.

Founded in 2014, Quiqup completed over half a million pickups, working with exciting brands as well as  high-street retailers. By May 2017, Quiqup had raised £20 Million, 120 staff members and over 2000 Quiqees (or delivery drivers). Their vision is to disrupt the world of commerce and revolutionise the way goods are moved around the city.
 

Airtasker


Airtasker is a trusted community platform that connects over 1.6 Million people who need to outsource tasks and find local services, with people who are looking to earn money and ready to work.

From simple to complicated tasks, Airtasker can help you complete your home cleaning, handyman jobs, admin work, photography, graphic design or even build a website.

Airtasker had raised over $50 Million and has expanded from Australia to the UK. 


Stashbee


In many areas, space has never been at such a premium, and we live in an era where people have more belongings than ever before. Stashbee aims to reinvent the way we store stuff for the sharing economy generation.

Stashbee's easy-to-use platform connects individuals & businesses who have spare space (garages, spare rooms, parking spaces, warehouses) with those who need it (private and business storage, parking, warehousing). Think of it as Airbnb for storage.

With over 36,000 storage days hosted to date, Stashbee has raised £1.2 Million. With around £900,000 of that coming from their crowd funding campaign that was almost double their sought after amount. 


Rated People


Rated People are the UK’s number 1 online marketplace connecting homeowners with quality local tradespeople. And they do it on a pretty impressive scale.

Over 50,000 tradespeople use their site to fill the gaps in their diary, grow their reputation and expand their business. Between them they specialise in over 30 trades. Over 1,000,000 jobs are posted every year by homeowners wanting to make the most of where they live. 

Once the work is complete, homeowners leave a review of the tradesperson – and it’s this feedback that gives other homeowners peace of mind that they’ve found someone reliable. They have been doing this for over 10 years, have raised £9.5M and the amount of reviews you can read about tradespeople is already impressive – and continues to go from strength to strength.

Inploi


The online recruitment market, for millions of jobs, remains dominated by dated web 1.0 platforms. They are expensive and inefficient. The way people interact with technology, access information, and utilise services has changed. The online job search/recruitment experience has not, excluding a massive demographic of potential candidates. This $14bn market is in need of a radical shake up.

Owners can use their website or iOS/Android app to book overnight boarding or daytime sitting with one of 30,000+ rated and reviewed sitters in the UK, Spain, Italy, France and Germany. The platform is used by over 500,000 dog lovers across Europe and has raised $13M to date. 

The dog sitters undergo a robust vetting process and all bookings are covered by comprehensive pet and liability insurance and emergency support for the ultimate peace of mind. DogBuddy sitters have an average review rating of 4.98, rated by dog owners who’ve used the service.


On The Dot


They aim to be the #1 service provider of hyper local delivery in the UK. Retailers can no longer ignore that delivery is the crutial retail battleground and those who embrace customer convenience and choice will win the race. Born in 2015, their multi award-winning delivery platform connects retailers’ desire for a unique and innovative shopping experience with a shopper's demand for delivery convenience.

OLIO


OLIO is a free app connecting neighbors so surplus food and other items can be shared, not binned. Its location-based app and website allows people to list and post a photo of unwanted food items to be shared with other people in the same neighborhood.

OLIO was founded in 2015 and is based in London. OLIO has raised $8.2 Million to date.


Fat Lama


Fat Lama is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace which allows people to rent spare items to others nearby, fully insured. The platform provides a cheaper and more efficient solution than buying outright or hiring from rental shops. At the same time, it allows others to monetise their rarely-used possessions.

The company's mission is to enable people to share and monetize their unused possessions, increasing the efficiency of both the consumer and the planet’s resources.

Fat Lama is a Y Combinator alum and has raised $13.1 Million to date.


Florence


Florence is an online platform that is revolutionising healthcare recruitment in the UK.  Our online marketplace connects nurses directly to care providers looking to fill short-term vacancies. 

Florence streamlines the process of filling temporary nursing shifts from start to finish.  

By removing the need for nursing agencies, healthcare institutions using Florence save about 30% on their monthly staffing bills.  

Managers are able to view the profiles of potential staff and make hiring decisions based on feedback displayed from previous engagements.  All compliance documents are verified by the Florence team and are always visible to hiring managers.
